Clarifying Shampoo

Moisturizing Shampoo

Moisturizing Deep Conditioner

Protein Deep Conditioner

A Leave-in Conditioner

Moisturizer

Oils

Wide tooth comb

Satin/ silk scarf and/or Satin bonnet 

Use a moisturizing deep conditioner with heat (at least 30 min) after every shampoo

Always follow up with a leave-in conditioner

Use a water-based moisturizer 2X/day (morning & night) then seal in the moisture with your natural oils

ALWAYS wear a satin/ silk scarf or bonnet to bed 

Do a Protein Treatment when needed (whenever the hair feels very limp, mushy, overly soft etc.)

Use a clarifying Shampoo (remove buildup) 1-2X /month (depending on the amount of product you use)

Trim when needed

Use a wide tooth comb to comb/detangle your hair. You’ll experience less breakage

Gradual Progress… I barely drink soda or juice… except around that time of month. I barely consume anything fried. I take my time eating (fills you up faster). Drink lots of detox water (with lemons, cucumbers, fruits etc.) I don’t use a scale….yet, but I do know my current weight! I have been getting back into swimming, hence the absence of my Yoga posts. (I will be posting later today tho) But I see the little changes and progress my body is making. To God be all the Glory for the changing process. I desire to remain consistent and patient throughout this journey and I am one proud Saucy Woman!!! Oooooowww!!

#Day8 : I have truly been lacking, so please forgive me dear friends. Due to a serious hectic schedule, I have not been able to effectively come to my mat. :-( BUT, today I went to the lake front and had the time of my life. Taking in every positive energy from the universe and releasing every negative force that I have picked up within the past few days. Today my challenge pose was the Figure Four Pose with #SunsOutTeekiBumsOut . My focus was trying to keep my back straight, as I would sitting upright in a chair.

My ease into the Split Pose with #TheYogiProject . Our word for the day was FLEXIBILITY. I was able to get a better understanding of what this word meant to me Concluding an amazing conversation with a companion of mine. My heart is now more open to being flexible with any relationship that should be 50/50 not 80/20. Being flexible with myself that not everything should be set in stone at all times. Being flexible with my life and with others in who I can serve. Which ever the wind may blow, I am FLEXIBLE.

Day1 : #IndependenceARMy Downward Facing Dog & #TheYogiProject Tree Pose. While today was a challenge within itself to set up my makeshift camera stand, for the right shot. My most enjoyable but challenging was the tree pose. Realizing that my core is not as strong as it once was and my legs are much stronger than they once were (recovering from an MCL sprain & inflammation behind the knee).

The word for the day is FREEDOM: to me freedom is breaking EVERY single barrier of self insecurity. While you, my dearest followers see me with proper “face” & slayed for the gawds. Allow me to be FREE in the next 31 days or more. So I kindly say to you, #PhuckYoOpinion
